Do you ever stop and think “my posture is horrible right now!”? Practice good posture and try to remind yourself of it through the day. Later, indulge in dessert. Yes that is right, treat yourself. Self care sometimes involves a little work to remind yourself about what you need. Consciously think about your body and how to treat it as the best and only body that you have! And remember to smile! Laughter and smiles spread positive energy to others and it also makes YOU feel good! Think of a fond memory or something that makes you laugh. One simple thing that you can do and will help you care for yourself at the same time. Tomorrow morning when you shower, take a longer one and do a quick facial or scrub, or BOTH! It only takes a few minutes to do a little pampering in the morning. It can even become part of your daily or weekend routine.
