Congratulations, your baby has arrived! Your amazing body nurtured and grew your baby, and you gave birth. Now it’s time to reconnect with your body, grow the connection with your baby, and discover the supportive circle of mamas in the community. Join this gentle yoga class where we will ease tension, restore strength and flexibility, and regain tone in the pelvic floor. There will be time for discussion and yoga for baby as well! This all level class is open to all mamas and their pre-crawling babies. No yoga experience necessary. Bring a yoga mat, set of yoga blocks, yoga strap, beach towel or a thick blanket and whatever baby needs. No class 4/26.

About Sandra: Classes taught: Prenatal, Mom & Baby (postpartum), Chair Yoga About the Instructor: Sandi Smith-Grove, RYT200, LM Sandi is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Licensed Midwife and Prenatal Educator who has been informally teaching yoga and mindfulness principles for many years. She first began studying with Diane Valentine in 1992 as part of a healing regime after back surgery, and completed her 200 hour certification at the Yoga & Movement Center in Walnut Creek. She has received teaching certifications in Yoga for Healthy Aging, Prenatal Yoga and completed the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program for Health Care Providers. Sandi believes that yoga is a practice that can benefit any one and any body. It is a wonderful way to maintain physical, emotional and mental wellness, as well as reducing stress and anxiety. sandismithgrove.yoga@gmail.com
